Westside of the new exhibition center Vienna, called Messe Wien (german), on a day without exhibition activities.
The Vienna exhibition Center is the most significant location for exhibition and fairs in Austria and a key economic factor for Vienna. The Messe Wien has an area of 15 hectare, 70,000 square feet of exhibition space, a congress center and an office tower with an unconventional spire. The newly designed exhibition opened in Vienna in 2004 and the site is directly next to the Prater, an extensive public recreation area.
