26/06/16 Sarah Hinchliffe, dairy technologist, samples one of the cheeses. It takes more than 250 judges to work their way through the 5,000 plus cheeses being shown at the annual International Cheese Awards, being held in Nantwich. Judges look for winning combinations of flavour, aroma, texture and appearance before announcing the overall show winner. The show is the world's biggest cheese competition and attracts entries from as far afield as New Zealand and Australia with around half the cheese coming from the UK.
