Raynauds Syndrome also known as Raynaud's Phenomenon.
A syndrome prevalent in women is raynauds syndrome. This is when the smallest arteries that supply blood to the fingers and toes suddenly get very small when in the cold or from emotional trauma. Cigarettes worsen or cause these episodes as well. The fingers go numb and become pale and cold.
