During this event, cadets from basic Military Science course were introduced to the Land Navigation Course using a map and magnetic compass in the fields of Camp Santiago while those in the more advanced course will have the opportunity to be tested on a self-corrected Land Navigation Course in order to better prepare for Advanced Camp 2019. The new land navigators would plot their coordinates and search for the point locations in small groups while the more seasoned navigators had to do it on their own for evaluation. The whole event was supervised by the cadres who also served as instructors for the group. At the end of the cycle the cadets were greeted with refreshments and healthy snacks. (National Guard
