Mr. Clark C. Griffith, manager of the Washington Baseball Club in the American League, is the organizer and promoter of the Clark C. Griffith Bat and Ball Fund. This fund, supported by major league owners and the general public, has distributed $250,000 worth of baseball equipment to soldiers overseas and in American training camps.
