Con-siderable irrigation is practiced around Vernal, Utah, and also in thevicinity of Greenriver, Utah, along the line of the Denver and RioGrande Railroad. Along White and Yampa rivers in Colorado, meadow irrigation is extensively practiced and projects are now onfoot for the irrigation of 200,000 or 300,000 acres of land in that section.
