Convex nickel-plated metal chinscales with leather backing. Stamped (worn) star of the Order of St. Andrew, lacquered in colour. There is a scroll above it bearing the Cyrillic inscription, "For Tachkisen 19 Dec. 1877. Ecru coloured cord. Stamped "LVGP 910" (Volynsky Life Guard Regiment) on the inside.
