We take pleasure in calling attention to this beautiful plant, which has been universally ad- mired and is acknowledged to be one of the very best herbaceous plants of recent in- troduction. The habit of the plant is free and graceful; it produces long, slender, much- branched stems, leafy to the base and all droop- ing toward the ends, apparently from the weight of the flowers and buds, although the flowers face so that none of their beauty is lost.
