Homecoming in the Aleutians. The Aleuts go home -- Standing at the rail of a Coast Guard-manned frigate, Coast Guardsman Thomas J. Mullins, radioman second class, of South Boston, Mass., looks toward the transport which is returning the Aleuts to their home islands. During the uncertain days after Pearl Harbor, the islanders were moved to the Alaskan mainland for safety.
