NORFOLK, Va. (March 3, 2018) Chief Logistic Specialist Alain Sue assists a Sailor, with plotting causalities on a chart during a general quarters (GQ) training drill aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). GQ drills are simulated scenario base casualties designed to provide Sailors with hands-on experience in fire fighting, pipe patching, structural integrity and other shipboard casualties. Bataan is currently inport at BAE Systems ship repair for a scheduled planned maintenance availability. (
