Among the best of these were the Judsons—Peter the father, his good wife, and their two sturdy sons,Stephen and Paul, who to this day have continued among theleading and honored men of the State. Peter Judson, in thefall of 1853, placed himself and family on the half section north History of Tacoma 155.
