The 36 Express Lanes Project, completed in 2016, reconstructed the highway from Federal Blvd., in Westminister, CO, to Table Mesa Dr. in Boulder. The $497 million project created new "express lanes" where they did not previously exist, reconstructed two general-purpose lanes, rebuilt some bridges and created a commuter bikeway, seen on the right of this photo. The image was made from the pedestrian walkway by the McCaslin Rd. overpass near Superior and Louisville, CO. For more info:
