'Scallop', a sculpture representing two scallop shells interlocked, by the renowned artist Maggi Hambling. Standing on the beach at Aldeburgh, Suffolk, England, it is dedicated by Maggi Hambling to Benjamin Britten, who like herself lived in Aldeburgh and inspired by her love of Britten's opera Peter Grimes.
