Parading Shirea at Eaton Safe. A NEW VIBRATORY POTATO SORTER A new machine of a simple and easily workedtype, with a large capacity, has recently beendesigned by Mr. R. C. Pessell. This is an auto-matic potato-sizing machine, having the neces-sary vibratory motion imparted by a couple ofspiral springs. The weight of the potatoescoming on to the screen causes the screen tovibrate on these spiral springs, and thus siftsthe tubers into three grades. If necessary theautomatic vibratory action can be assisted byhand or foot power. The capacity of the apparatus is iewt. perminute.
