Cactus Moth


An adult female of the invasive cactus moth (Cactoblastis cactorum) resting on a prickly pear cactus pad. First detected in Florida in 1989, the spread of the cactus moth threatens many cactus species, and the ornamental cactus industry in the southwestern US.
