Child’s Views in Philadelphia and Its Environs from Original Drawings Taken in 1827–30. Although initially believed to have been made and sold in Philadelphia, it is more likely that this object was made by a Bohemian firm—the Bohemians were celebrated during the late 18th and 19th centuries for glass engraving—and retailed by a Philadelphia merchant.
