A decoratively cut German hunting sword,around 1650 Long,single-edged blade with quadruple fullers on each side,and a double-edged point. There is a smith's mark stamped at the base of the blade on the reverse side. Cut iron hilt with curved S-shaped quillons(old brass solder on one side),the knucklebow is cut in relief in the shape of a lion. The iron grip is made in the shape of a sitting dog with a grotesque mask cut on the back of the head.
