Luxemburger Bruderbund Schobermisse. The annual Schobermesse of the Luxemburger Bruderbund was held at Karthauser grove, Chicago, September 5-6, and drew a large attendance of the growers, florists and gardeners of the north shore, who, with their wives and families, look forward to this au- tumn festival with much pleasurable anticipation and look back on antici- pation fulfilled. The exhibit of flow- ers, fruits and vegetables was very comprehensive and was viewed by thousands with a great deal of inter- est and intelligent comment. Incident- ally a large amount of imported Wormeldinger Scholtesberger 1904 'er was consumed and the vast throng was entertained with songs of the Vaderland, acrobatic stunts and a horse power merry-go-round and punch and Judy show for the chil- dren. A Furman boiler of large ca- pacity was exhibited by the John C. Moninger Co. and attracted consid- erable attention. The judges of the flower exhibits. J. B. Deamud, John Zech and W. H.
