Hebe 1801–6 Attributed to the workshop of Simeon Skillin Probably intended as a garden sculpture, this figure was originally painted gray and red in imitation of marble. The piece bears a striking resemblance to Antonio Canova's marble "Hebe" of 1801, which was widely known through Hebe 12598
