The Bronte birthplace, 74 Market Street, Thornton, near Bradford. Charlotte (1816), Patrick (1817), Emily (1818) and Anne Bronte (1820) were all born in this house. Their father was curate of the church in Thornton from 1815 until his appointment as perpetual curate at Haworth in 1820.
