A beautiful species, with small wiry branches, covered in June with clusters of white flowers. S. crispifolia. From Japan. Verj' dwarf, about 12 inches; rounded form, leaves crisped, flowers pink. Blooms nearly all summer. Too small to be of much use. 50 cents. S. cratseg-ifolia. Hawthorn- leaved Spirea. a handsome sort, re- sembling somewhat the lance-leaved, nevertheless distinct. Flowers greenish white in July; appears to be very hardy. Has spikes of beautiful deep rose-colored July. One of the S. floribunda. Free-blooming Spirea, Flowers white, abundant bloomer. 50 cents. S.
