A late 19th century view of Trongate, one of the oldest streets in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. The Tron Steeple can be seen in the distance and to the left is an ornate octagonal building giving entrance to Glasgow Cross Station whose platforms were below street level, part of the Caledonian Railway building designed by J. J. Burnet in 1886.
