Arrangements are now inprogress for making this repair. PINNACLES NATIONAL MONUMENT. This national monument, created by proclamation of January 16,1908, embraces 2, acres of land in San Benito County, Cal., ofwhich approximately 1,900 acres is under governmental control, asmall portion having been patented to private ownership prior tocreation of the monument.
