A German late Gothic mace, circa 1500, Forged iron. The head consisting of six inserted, pointed flanges (repairs) with coiled sides, the upper finial in the shape of a ball topped by a short spike. The hollow-forged haft hexagonal in the upper part, octagonal after two girdles, faceted pommel, the grip with two drill holes to attach the lanyard. Length 68 cm.
