FASHION DESIGN FOR PATIENTS


Reportage on Anne-Cécile Ratsimbason, a fashion designer for chronic patients in Nice, France. Anne-Cécile helps the patients by creating bespoke clothing and accessories that are adapted to the pathology and physical condition. She meets diabetic children and their parents at the hospital. The hospital has commissioned her to design accessories for carrying an insulin pump. This 11-year old boy suffers from type-1 diabetes and has carried an insulin pump 24 hours a day for the past 3 years.
