They are of recent introduction and are especially desirable for cut flowers, last- ing much better than the single sorts. To produce the best results they should be grown in a light soil. The center of the petals, five in number, runs into a point, thus giving the flowers a regular star-like form. The plant grows about 18 inches high, of compact habit, and bears large umbels of flowers, of many brilliant colors, and the edges of the petals bordered with broad white mar- gins. Per pkt. 5 Fringed Chinese Primrose Primula (Chinese Primrose) A charming and profuse flowering plant and one of the most desirable of house bloom- ing plants, and will richly compensate for the little care they require.
