Wash. Wheat $ J $ $ Oats Barley Potatoes While Nature has been lavish in providing the Inland Empire with an |nezhaustible soil, she has been equally kind in making provision for the growthof the grain and the gathering of the harvest. The rainfallis frequent and abundant throughout the year, but is morecopiously distributed in the growing season and is entirelyabsent during the harvest period, which usually begins July15th and ends October 1st. The rainfall of the Inland Empirevaries from 16 inches to 24 inches in the non-irrigated sections, and is ample for the numerous crops grown.
