At the same date it is also mentioned of glass cutting:This business has been recently established by an ingenious German, (Eich-baum,) formerly glass cutter to Louis XVI, late King of France. We have seena six light chandelier^ with prisms, which does credit to the workman and reflectshonor on our country, for we have reason to believe it is the first ever cut in theUnited States. #.
