MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 5, 2017) The aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77) performs a passing exercise (PASSEX) with the guided-missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) and the Hellenic Navy's Elli-class frigate HN Kountouriotis (F-462). The George Bush Carrier Strike Group is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests.
