There were 98, 40 footer-container van, discovered dumped in the country since 2013 by the subsidiary companies of the Ontario-based Chronic Inc. However, the DENR recently allowed the dumping of 29 of these containers in a landfill in Capas, Tarlac Province without a court sanction or a technical assessment of the trash inside.
