Luke Harris, son of Christopher, married Polly Whit-ney, and moved into the house with his father, about thistime, and resided there a few years, then moved into theWhipple house. Mrs. Harris died Sept., 1816, and thenext year he married Betsey Whitney, sister of his for-mer wife. In 1818, he bought the farm on which IsaacLawrence first settled, and lived there five and one-half.
