Great Basin Collared Lizard in situ on rocks in the Grand Canyon in Arizona ... Desert Collared Lizard


This Great Basin Collared Lizard allowed me to follow him closely while he moved from one rock to another, over the course of about a half hour. I found it very fortuitous that he propped himself up in this manner and turned to look at me for a moment, presenting a unique pose in an in-situ opportunity.
