Fraternally Mr. Bangs is connected with the Knights of Pythias and is serving on itsboard of control. He is also connected with the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. Inpolitics he is a democrat, has served as counsel for the state legislature and is now acandidate for congress. He belongs to both the North Dakota State Bar Association andthe American Bar Association and he has made for himself a creditable position among. GEORGE A. He served as chairman of the committee in theinterest of fraternal insurance companies in 1904 and was instrumental in readjusting ratesof insurance for the Knights of Pythias, which at that time was practically bankrupt butis now in a prosperous condition.
