An early printed photograph showing 4 separate sets being filmed simultaneously at the former BBC Lime Grove television Studios, Shepherds Bush , London, UK. The complex had been built originally by the Gaumont Film Company in 1915. It was used by them and by Gainsborough Pictures. The BBC used it for television broadcasts until 1991 including the filming of Steptoe and Son; Doctor Who; Nationwide; Top of the Pops; and The Grove Family (named after the studio). It was demolished in 1993
