It must be admittedthat in suitable cases this method offers an efficientmeans of treatment, which is too seldom taken advan-tage of. The complications to which open buboes are liable—viz., phagediena, gangrene, and diphtheritis—mustbe treated according to the rules laid down for softsores under similar circumstances.
