Continuous rainfall has caused the Ping River to overflow, flooding several areas in Chiang Mai city, including the Night Bazaar, a key business district, Pa Daet Subdistrict where the flood levels are high, and Tha Wang Tan Subdistrict, where many ancient sites in Wiang Kum Kam have been submerged.
