Casteel signals the completion of preliminary checks on ordnance attached to an F/A-18A+ Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 87 aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77). George Bush is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility on its first operational deployment conducting maritime security operations and support missions as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
