Angermueller. Guy Eeburn, representing A. Hender- son & Co., Chicago, was a caller last week. He is always a welcome visitor among the growers. The florists who have had large ship- ments of plants have made good use of those special express rates published on page 17 of The Review of August 8. They say they saved a great deal of money by referring to the list in The Review whe'n the express companies presented their bills. The new wholesale house, the Windier Wholesiale Floral Co., opened with a great flourish. Their consignments of stock were large and of good quality, and' they cleaned up nicely the first day. Good cigars were handed out, and ex- pressions of good fellowship were ex- tended to them by all in the trade. Miss M. S. Newman and Miss Arm- strong have returned from their summer vacations and have opened their store again at Spring and Olive streets. Pretty displays again are seen in their show windows. J. J. B. DAYTON, O. The Market. The rose supply, which until two weeks ago was ove^abu^dant, has dropped off to a certain degree. This condition seems to be general, as the demand has considerably increased.
