Dear Bishop and Brethren: Through the kind providence of God I am permitted to report,the work of the Winston District as follows: TEMPORALITIES. Advance—one church has been completed. At Boston Cottage abuilding has been purchased and fitted up for church services. AtAsheboro and Randleman some money raised on Dobson no advancement this year. At Charlotte a lot with agood building on it suitable for a parsonage. The value is 8500;they have paid $100. Paid on old indebtedness, £30. High Point—W. H. Smith was sent to this work, but he grew sick in Januaryand died on the 20th of May. I sent J. P. Moms to the work, andsince tben we have made and burned one hundred and thirty thous-and bricks for a new church. We have raised and paid out $
