It forms a circular cushion- like plant 2J feet across, rarely exceeding 9 inches in height, the flowers, of delicate, soft mauve, with silvery white reflection, measure over li inches in diameter, and are produced in such lavish profusion as to com- pletely cover the plant; the blooms begin to expand early in October, but are not at their best until November. 35 cts. each; $ per doz.
