Pha That Luang in Vientiane. The national symbol of Laos.


Pha That Luang in Vientiane has become a national symbol for Laos. It was first built by King Setthathirath in the 16th century, it was destroyed by the Thais in 1828, then rebuilt by the French to the original design in 1900.
