AH-1Z Viper’s with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) launch flares in order to mark a target during defensive counter air operations in support of Summer Fury 21 in Fleta Hot airspace off the coast of California, July 13, 2021.
