He had his own portraitpainted; that of his wife, Elizabeth Hobbey, a beautiful woman; HesterPlaisted, who was highly cultured in appearance ; two daughters by his firstwife, Elizabeth and Hannah ; all supposed to have been painted by Smybert,Copleys teacher.
