When the plaster isset, place the whole on a strong stool and remove first thecords, then the irons, chipping away the plaster around them,then the remainder of the white plaster, and finally the yellowlayer. Leave some of the white plaster around the legs andbeneath the chin until the upper part is shelled out, so as toprevent these parts being broken when those above them arestruck (Fig. i8o). III. The Casting of a High Relief. The casting of a bust and of a figure having been fullygone into, there remains little to be said, on that of a relief,which has not already been touched on. The clay relief (Fig. i8i) has a projection of about 2\inches. This relief having no detached parts
