Captain Ernest Peixotto of the Signal Corps took this photograph on November 4, 1918. The image showcases the village of Cierges and the lower slopes of Hill 230. The 32nd Division captured the village and continued its advance up the hill. Bellevue Parm can be seen on the left of the hill-top. This location witnessed intense fighting, particularly around the church and the quarries. Captain Peixotto drew this image, which was later approved by the censor on November 30, 1918.
