Army Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment act as opposing forces while guarding an enemy air defense artillery system during exercise Allied Spirit X, at the Grenzland-Kaserne in Oberviechtach, Germany April 7, 2019. Approximately 5,600 participants from 15 nations, including Italian and SOF elements took part in the exercis. The multinational exercise series is designed to develop and enhance NATO readiness and warfighting capabilities.
