Proboscis aborted ; palpi porrect, the 2nd joint reaching as far as frontal tuft and clothed with long hair, the 3rd long and smoothly scaled ; antennae of male bipectinate with long branches, of female biserrate ; head, thorax, and abdomen clothed with long hair; hind tibiae with the medial spurs absent. Fore wing with vein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle; 6 from upper angle ; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole; 11 free. Hind wing with vein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle; 6, 7 from upper angle ; 8 from middle of cell. Female with the wings much aborted. A. Femora and abdomen above pinkish rubripes. B.
