Hawaii is so much more than beautiful beaches and palm trees. It's also home to the tallest mountain on Earth (measured from the sea floor), Mauna Kea, which houses largest telescopes in the world. It's a trip driving up to the summit at nearly 14,000 feet. There is 40% less oxygen than at sea level, which makes the otherworldly landscape even more interesting. Two exposures, one for foreground, one for the stars.
