The irregular supply boat to the Laus from Suva, the Lady Sandy, loading and unloading on the wharf in Matuku. Drums of premix fuel for outboards is being craned onto the wharf and sacks of copra that have already been loaded are on the decks. The villagers expect the boat monthly but know that often the service is less frequent and supplies run out, the Lady Sandy had not come for approx two months. (missing July 13). Matuku, southern Laus, Fiji.
