The derelict settling tanks at the old industrial site of the Steetley magnesite.

These are the old tanks which were used by the Steetly Magnesite chemical works on the coastline of Hartlepool. The whole site has been demolished just recently leaving the settling tanks to decay at the mercy of the elements. This photograph was taken on a very cold winter's day and the water in the tank had actually turned to ice.
